Russett Woods Estate is a family venture including Doug, and his two sons who are all involved to ensure the goats are raised in a respectful, eco-friendly way with no intervention and stress-free, which includes the use of trained dogs for herding, not noisy, terrorising motorbikes. Together they are focussed on raising happy male goats that run free and graze on the land in their goats-only pastures and are raised to its ideal weight of 30 kilograms, which ensures an excellent, best-of-class meat. Once tasted fans know that it is so good, it must be a Russett.
