Plastic Tunnel to Control Wombats

After the wombat has established its own path under the fence, the black plastic tunnel can be inverted and placed under the fence as per the following diagram. The plastic tunnel is a half wrap circle with a radius of 230mm to give an external width of 515mm and an internal width of 460mm. The overall length of 1520mm serves to discourage the goats from burrowing through the opening to freedom on the other side. However, we have found that large tunnels will allow the goats through, it is amazing how flexible they can be! On the other hand, if the wombats need additional room, they will dig down to make the tunnel fit for their own purposes. A balancing act between the needs of two different animals.
